After a morning of skill-testing exercises, EALABA bowlers enjoyed a two-course lunch prior to taking on a Tamworth Indoor Bowls Club select team at open triples over 6 rinks and 18 ends.
EALABA took an early lead and piled on the pressure taking a 30 shot lead. Tamworth fielding a number of new caps dug their heels in and after 10 ends had taken a narrow lead. It was then nip and tuck over the next 4 ends before EALABA started to pull away again. After 18 ends EALABA were victorious 106-81.
The day concluded with short speeches from both team Captains and tea & biscuits.
