We have been advised, today, that long standing EALABA member Steve Ireland has retired from bowls. Steve has served his County, Club & EALABA for many years, playing at a very high standard and successfully competing alongside & against able bodied bowlers. There were 6 player members of EALABA at the DBE v The North over the weekend of 20th – 21st January 2024; Steve Angus, Colin Wagstaff, Barry Nicholson, Mac Otton, David Stearn and Gary Swift. The teams bowled at South shields and Stanley IBC’s. The competition was 2 set games comprising of 8 ends each
