We have been advised, today, that long standing EALABA member Steve Ireland has retired from bowls. Steve has served his County, Club & EALABA for many years, playing at a very high standard and successfully competing alongside & against able bodied bowlers.
We wish Steve and his Dianne, success for the future.
So sad to hear this News… Will miss Steve and Dianne very much, they both hold a very special place in my heart, as Steve & Dianne were the first People from DBE that I met… they met Me at Watford and drove Me up to Nottingham where we played a two day pairs event together then returned Me to My Daughter’s in Watford…. A Lovely Couple indeed! I wish them both All the very Best…
