The Joan Blaney Memorial Pairs was held at Gedling IBC over the weekend of 6/7th August and the entries was dominated by EALABA bowlers, 11 out of 14.
Unfortunately, 3 pairs withdrew at the last minute due to illness.
Chris Gray and Colin Wagstaff took the trophy winning 5 of the 6 matches.
Second place went to John Greaves with partner Julie with the same number of wins as Helen Wood & David Fisher but a superior shot difference. In fourth place went to Steve Angus & John Rogers on superior shot difference over 2 other pairs, demonstrating the competitiveness of this tournament.
